A feed is a stream of data reflecting the changes, in any given parameter, as captured, onto our platform, from different meters, sensors and systems disseminated throughout the customer’s facilities. Our platform allow the users to live track (real-time) this information which is then displayed, with the help of lively informative and highly customizable, Feed vs. Time and Feed vs. Feed graphs and meter-centric dashboards. The viewing screen of live feeds is simply called…LiveFeed.
On LiveFeed, the user, through multi-Y-axes feed vs. time graphs, can choose to display 2 or more feeds: For example, the customer can view the live reading of the indoor building lobby temperature (Deg. C) and the building’ electrical power demand. These graphs are very useful to highlight, for example, energy wastage which can be very common during "out-of-hours" periods.
Additionally, on LiveFeed, the users can choose from any two feeds, that EnergyTech has the contractual obligation to track, and display them one versus the other. For example, the user may wish to observe how the chillers’ electrical power demand (KW) fluctuates with the outdoor dry bulb temperatures (Deg. C). This type of graph can help indicate if the A/C equipment’s sequence of operations is well tuned. Finally, LiveFeed proposes summary meter-centric dashboards that display utilities’ consumptions expressed in units and values
Besides LiveFeed, the platform has a secondary viewing screen called HistoryFeed. Much like LiveFeed, it allows the users to access historical feeds (past data over a user-selected period of time) to display feed vs. time and feed vs. feed graphs in addition to meter-centric dashboards.
Additionally, EnergyTech provides a third viewing screen, CompariFeed, on which historical feeds can be “pitched” against live feeds in Feed vs. time (in this case, the same time window will be picked up in case of feed vs. time graphs) and feed vs. feed graphs. For example, the customer can display the live reading of the chillers’ electrical power demand (KW) and the outdoor Dry bulb temperature (Deg. C) vs. the same readings collected during the same time of the past year. On this viewing screen, graphs displaying feeds extracted from different facilities (see Benchmarking) can be displayed.
All the feed vs. time graphs in LiveFeed and HistoryFeed, are fitted with self-adjusting scales, are zoomable, and are fully searchable. Moreover, customers can readily apply, to these graphs, a set of available Filters:
1. The facilities’ occupancy/operation hours (as applicable during the feed stream time).
2. The facilities location’s outside weather conditions (Dry Bulb & wet Bulb temperatures as applicable during the feed stream time)
3. The facilities location’s astronomical time (night-time vs. day-time). These filters are convenient to obtain additional informative insights on the way the energy is consumed in the facilities.
In addition to the above mentioned graphs, our platform can “work out” additional information. Both LiveFeed and HistoryFeed shall allow the user to display, for any meter-generated feed, dashboards that show:
· The consumed utility or energy (m3, gallons, KWH, KWHc, TonH….) on any given day and over any period of time (The Year-To-Date, Month-To-Date….) selected by the user. For example, while a feed from an electric meter can be restricted to just the power (KW), our platform can work out the energy consumption (KWH).
· The cost (Month-To-Date cumulated), to the customer of such consumptions, based on the facilities’ applicable tariff structure. (EnergyTech keeps its utility tariff library updated at all time)
